The Franklin Johnston Group, a Virginia Beach-based multifamily development and property management firm, has promoted four management employees to the position of vice president.
Gloria Harrison has been promoted from business manager to vice president of business management. A founding member of The Franklin Johnston Group, Harrison brings 27 years of multifamily experience across all facets of operations and development to her new role, the company said in a news release. Her experience also includes more than 15 years as a property manager. She will be responsible for all day-to-day operations at The Franklin Johnston Group corporate offices.
Christen Faatz has been promoted from director of corporate strategy to vice president of operations. She joined the company in March 2015. In her new role, Faatz assumes risk management responsibilities for the group, along with new business development, including transitioning new business into the company’s portfolio.
Shannon Riner has been promoted from portfolio manager to vice president of property operations. Riner joined The Franklin Johnston Group in February 2015 with more than 15 years of experience in real estate development and management in multiple southeast markets. She is responsible for a portfolio of assets located in Atlanta and Raleigh, all of which are undergoing interior and exterior renovations.
Sandi DuVall also has been promoted to vice president of property operations. A 27-year industry veteran, DuVall honed her skills working for several nationwide real estate investment trusts. Her experience includes simultaneously managing 18 apartment communities on the east coast. DuVall is responsible for the group’s Hampton Roads assets and she also is a licensed Virginia real estate agent and an active board member of the Virginia Apartment Management Association.
Employing more than 350 people in the mid-Atlantic and Southeast, The Franklin Johnston Group owns and manages 12,000 units and more than 70 properties.
