Matt Hacker, Executive Vice President: Matt has spent his entire career in the Multifamily industry. He joined the Franklin Group in 2014 as a Community Manager. He quickly moved up through the company, holding Senior Community Manager and Portfolio Manager roles before being promoted to SVP of Property Operations in 2018. In July 2025, Matt was promoted to Executive Vice President.

In his current role, Matt oversees the company’s entire portfolio of over 37,000 units of conventional, affordable, and senior properties along the East Coast. He manages and mentors the Senior Vice President of Property Operations and Portfolio Managers and plays a key role in maintaining and expanding relationships with current owners. Matt also leads strategic efforts in evaluating and executing new property and client opportunities, consistently driving value across the organization.

Matt holds a B.S. in Property Management with a minor in Business Leadership from Virginia Tech and is a candidate for the Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management. In 2025, he became a graduate of the CIVIC Institute Executive Program.
