Working for The Franklin Johnston Group is like being part of a family that is looking out for other families, according to Angie Lombardi, vice president of marketing.
The company is a developer and manager of multifamily residences that offers senior, luxury and affordable housing. It handles more than 18,000 units and 100-plus properties in seven states up and down the East Coast. The company, which branched off from SL Nusbaum in May 2013, was founded by housing veterans Wendell Franklin, Tom Johnston, Taylor Franklin and Steve Cooper.
“Happy, healthy employees are good employees,” Lombardi said. “And we want to make sure we are doing everything at the corporate level to make sure our team members are happy and productive and go home at the end of the day felling like they work for a great place with great people. We really are like family.”
And like many families, Franklin Johnston is experiencing growing pains.
“We have seen tremendous growth over the past year,” she said. “Our partners are signing up a lot of properties, a lot of affordable apartment communities.”
